I think we receive a message in CIC Account for PPR as we got a message for AOR. That is what i was told when i called at cic call center

Guys, please what happens at IP2? Background status moved to "We are processing your background check...."

Some people got IP2 and PPR yesterday while some got IP2 yesterday and PPR today. This makes curious to know what happens exactly at that stage.

Is it safe to assume that one's application has been approved when your BG status changes to IP2?
In my opinion yes, at IP2 your application has been approved

Sorry to be a dope, but how can you tell if you're in IP2? (I rarely check my CIC account simply because I find it stressful) I do know my meds are passed, and my BGC was "in progress" last time I looked. AOR is April 26.

There's certain status change that gives you a hint on what stage your application is at.

There are many different combination of how your background check can change. It all depends on the office and officer who is in charge of your application.

Since you're not checking your MyCIC often, you might have missed status changes as you usually do not get an email on that.

The only true way to find out what's happening with your application is to get GCMS notes.

Also very stressed but trying not to think to much about it. I think we would all hear the good news soon before the end of July! Amen.
My AOR is April 30th. Ip2 status since background check is in progress.

Let's stay positive. We would get the golden email soon!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts
You're welcome. I hear in rare cases one can still be rejected.
