I got my CSQ in February after waiting 3 years for an interview. I applied for my Federal process on March 31 2014. I havent heard back since. I applied from the US and selected the New Delhi VO, because of the lower wait times there ( Atleast thats what I have been told).

How long does it usually take for AOR for QSW applicants? Also, will you usually get the medical request with the AOR?

You can always check processing time at the CIC website for QSW. Just follow this link, for New Delhi it take up to 9 months.

9 months for the AOR? I thought the 9 months was to finalize an applications fate?

Normally it takes 4 weeks... And yes normally you get the AOR with the medical request.

But i got a question for you, what do you mean by "I applied from the US and selected the New Delhi VO" according to CIC website ot says:

Mail your application and your fee payment form or receipt from paying online to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada:

Centralized Intake Office—QSW
P.O. Box 8888
Sydney, Nova Scotia B1P 0C9
Canada

Do not send your application to the visa office that serves your home country.

After this I quote the CIC website "The CIO will check to see if your application is complete. If it is, the CIO will send it to the office serving your region to be processed. The office will contact you if they need other documents from you when they start processing your application."

You cannot choose the office that you want to be processed by it has to be your country of nationality or country/territory where you have been legally admitted for one year. if that is your case you have to indicate this visa office in your application. then the CIO will forward it to the corresponding office

I applied to the Central Intake Office and in the forms it asked which office would you like for it to be processed and I selected NDVO. It was suggested by the David Cohen lawyers and thats what I did.

lets see when they will send me the AOR.

Oh I forgot to mention , I am from India and I live in the US, So I can chose between an office in the US or the NDVO right?

Hey Dounia,
My application was received on May 2, 2014 and my AOR and Medical came on July 14. I completed my medical on August 14 and I had a status saying Medical Results have been received on August 23. I created a thread to keep track of QSW's applying for federal process.

Why dont you post you timeline there so that everybody is informed.

Hi , im not able to post my time line that's what it says (The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you).

That is strange because it says the same to me. Can you try again
