Hi guys,

I emailed Ralph yesterday and got this reply:

Eligibility is in process.

Criminality is in process since Apr 11, 2018.

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until Jan 28 and May 20, 2019.

can someone help me understand this?

My application has been more than 7 months now

my application is almost completed 6 months. I am cec inland applicant. I think you did not pass the eligibility yet. Some applicants eligibility needs an extra review. I recently received my notes and my eligibility review required by senior officer.
you hv to keep patience. Your file keep pending unless its assessed by next officer. I know its very stressful when your application passed 6 months. You can apply notes.

What are chances of rejection ??

I don't think they'd wait that long for a rejection. There's something taking time in your file. Do you have dependents on your file?

Contacted my MP office and they got back to me with this reply from IRCC

“The client's application is with our office and is awaiting final review by an officer. The client will be contacted further in due course.”

It is good that the criminality is pass. That takes the most time. Also, when was BG updated for you in your CIC account? And did you get any ghost updates?

Did you try calling CIC? Did you get a chance to ask them about the progress of your file?

Yes, last week they told me that my file is in Sydney - Nova scotia and awaiting final review by an officer.

my eligibility review required. My notes say its going to be reviewed on 26 nov by another officer. lets see what they are going to do..I wish they passed my eligibilty and start my security and criminality. i know the reason why my eligibility review required. I am having so much stress going on these days. I am trying to stay positive.
