Folks, I received my AOR on April 1, 2016.

I then received a further Schedule A request on MAy 11, 2016.

But when I logged in today the status said updated without any additional information

the application reads:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

What shall I make of this?

thanks once again,
Cheers!

People sometimes report "ghost updates" like this. It probably means your PPR will come very soon :)

inland means you're applying from within canada and outland means you're applying from outside canada :)

Guessing, that means it's inland. Anway - I may need to change my address, so I wonder if its best to call them and tell them.

firstly...wait 24 hours for an update and if you still see no changes on your mycic, then its a ghost update (someone's working on your file)...either which way as spielo rightly advised-it is a very good sign and congrats! :)

regarding address change- you can raise CSE to update your address information....nothing to worry about address changes

hope this helps!

Congrats everyone that received PPR!

One question, when you received it, was it by email?

Could you see any changes on your CIC profile?

It was just an email saying U have a new message in your Cic account and then one additional mail came after few hours saying your Cic profile has been updated...when I logged into my Cic my BG status changed to in progress and I had this PDF attachment as a message requesting me to submit my PP with VFS.
I hope this answers your question. :)

I'm not disappointed because it felt a bit too soon anyway based on the experiences of the March AOR cohort. I think next week is quite plausible though :-)

Thank you for saying it out loud man 8)

I mean seriously? What is the point of this forum if people can't benefit from it?

I see the same questions being asked again and AGAIN >:(

Same concerns over the time spent so far waiting when we already have couple of groups who have crossed 6 months mark :-X

The search function is pretty terrible in my experience. I've tried several times to find things out by searching the forums but finding anything is extremely difficult. Unfortunately, this means that if the answer to your question isn't on the last few pages of a thread, you're not going to find it without asking again. It's not exactly reasonable to expect a newcomer to read 100 pages of random discussion to find one piece of information.

Okay, I get it and I can understand it too, it also varies from individual to individual.

But it wouldn't be illogical to suggest to anyone to start following the (N-1) or (N-2) AOR threads, i.e. if a newcomer is in SEP AOR, he/she should definitely keep an eye on the JUL and/or AUG AOR threads.

That will help in a lot of things, answers to questions, helps with anxiety too.

The most successful approach I've had is to do a binary search of the March AOR thread's page numbers until I find the page with the posts from exactly one month before the current date and see what happens on that date since that is the situation we're currently in :)
