I've got a friend who's got connections with IRCC and he was able to ask an agent about my application. He told me that everything is fine, all is passed except for Security which is still ongoing. The agent he spoke with said that if eligibility is passed then the hardest part is over, and that security is the phase that takes the longest. That I should be hearing back by mid October. I wanted to share because it seems that application time for Ottawa visa office is almost the 6 months, so no need to worry if everything seems to be taking a long time.

yes you can pay rprf fees anytime without request i think it will save time for sure. i paid mine this week aslo without request and today my BG status changed from not needed to In progress.

Thats a good sign..someones working on your file..you should get an email tomorrow..if not then thats a ghost update..tame what im thinking is- criminality is passed and bowp is approved..lets see

Calling CIC is not an option, as I m applying from India...and they have no facility of calling option for outside Canada applicants
