I received a call from my immigration officer from Niagara falls, she gave me an update about my application and she told me she submitted a request for the background check, and I should be granted PR within 2 weeks. The agent gave me her phone number and she was so nice.

Applied April 2020
AOR April 2021
Medical passed June 8, 2021
background check started June 8, 2021

did the officer call you by her own? or did you request a call from them? how nice of her to give you her phone number.. that must be a first

I also got my AOR on April 2021,it means that I should wait for some good news:)

hi, i had hearing on Feb 02 and i obtained my notice of hearing after One week. In my case, my passport was lost and only submitted copies of passport. Same thing, i informed to judge. But in my notice, it says-
“The claimant submitted national identity card as well as his indian passport containing his visa to Canada.”

Because in April, i submitted an application for travel document they are asking for notice of seizure. But i do not have one as i never submitted my passport to IRCC.
What should i do? Could it effect my PR application?

i am september 2020 application.. received my temporary AOR in April but they haven't started processing my application yet. Have they started processing yours ?

No not yet.I got my AOR on April 8.
Actually, I called IRCC on March and took my temporary file number,then they sent me official AOR letter on April!
I’ve read some threads that applicants who applied on summer 2020 got their AIP.

that's great news.. i applied in september 2020 so they should start processing my application soon. keep us updated please

by the way, how did u know that they started processing it ? through the ircc online tool ?
