Yours has most likely changed to IP1 and back to NA without you noticing when I look at your timeline, you are IP1. There is no email, nothing when CIC changes your background check status and also the days difference between NA - IP - NA is in some cases only 1 day (like in mine). So I really think you are IP1 at the moment ;)

Just a reminder - Background check changes as follow - N/A - IP1 - N/A - IP2
I had IP1 back in march and NA all the way from Late march...

Hi all,

This morning my wife and I got a request for "Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)" - a medical exam, even though we did our medical exam before submitting our application. We uploaded the forms we got at the end of the exam as part of the application.

Has anyone received a similar request?

Can anyone weigh in on why BG will be stuck at NA

We learn about CIC process from this forum. And what I have understood is that BG being stuck in IP means security screening etc but what does being stuck in NA mean.

Specially since many after me have seen their BG changed to IP.

I am losing my mind here.

I am expecting my GCMS this Friday or upcoming Monday, I guess we both should in the same group as we share the same AoR date.

I really hope to receive PPR before I receive my GCMS lol!!!

My GCMS said eligibility was done and looks like security was done. I have a feeling everything is done but there is something in Ottawa that is holding us.

AOR Jan 21st
Background check is in progress now.

BTW 197th day for me~ Aor on Jan 2nd. IP2 on June 12 and still waiting for PPR.....
I guess for Dec last week and Jan first week everything is finalized. The only thing we're waiting for is the golden email. :(

I called them last week, they said everything was done, just waiting for the final decision officer to approve all the works have been done by the previous reviewers. Only the final decision officer has the right to sign.

I had a feeling that they are counting the approved applicants to match 2016 yearly allowance for both federal and PNP. I can see from the tracker a few Dec 30 people got PPR on July 10. So it appears they are working on them but slowly issuing PPR.
