We sent app close to Christmas! So that delay...

If that wasn't enough
Guess what, even getting COPR will be delayed, u get ur PPR on 30th June hopefully, then there is Canada day! And that too 150th!

So courier services will be closed or delayed, then the visa office might have vacation/hangover of 3-4 days! Be prepared to receive COPR on July 15th...

Indirectly they told me that I will receive the decision before the end of this month! And confirmed that security is done - just final decision is left (I assume that is sending the email).

I even stretched a played with her a bit and then she said, give us a call on 30th June if u haven't received anything!

Now 30th June - being Friday, this could be the actual date for PPR email...

I am 22dec, Medic March 7th, BGIP May 26th, PPR on or before 30th June!

If all ur info is perfect and they are able to verify ur work experience easily, they would not need to pass the security screening to the local office and you should not cross 6 mnths, 5-10 days more here and there. They say Appx 6 mnths, right?

Thanks for sharing this information. But I still believe the information that CIC call agents give may not be trusted especially the PPR dates. This happened last time also to someone with late Nov AOR and they gave a rough guess but he got PPR much earlier. So all fingers crossed that you guys get your PPR soon.

Its always rough guess... But indirectly, I made her say that I will receive before 30th! It could be today in next 10 mins!

New law was passed yesterday allowing 365days prior to being permanent resident counted towards citizenship. They decreased the requirement to 3yrs instead of 4. We will all be citizens by 2019 guys.. okay early 2020.
 
That batch is EE December pace...

And the group number is assigned for that batch!
