Hi everyone,
My bg check just changed to not applicable from In progress.
CIC never asked for my rcmp. Does that mean they don't need it anymore?
What will be the next stage of processing?

Thanks

Sorry it's not applicable

I got mine changed from BG (1) and then RCMP requested. Your application may have passed the 1st background check. However some people reported that their BG check never went to 2nd and they received the PPR shortly.

Just an update so, people can search in the future... Called IRCC and the laid over the phone told me that YES, my file had been approved since February. She didn't know the reason the email wasn't sent.
Anyway, She told me that She was would request the area to re-sent it and that I should wait for 20 business days to receive the e-mail.
Foy my surprise I got the e-mail Yesterday at 6:13pm EST!!

Thank you for the support. I hope everybody gets the PPR very soon. Keep strong!

Guys... HELP. Does it mean I am approved and I haven't received the e-mail?? OMG! Or Am I wrong? What should I do?

I just received my GMCS and it says on the second page...

Guys...

So sorry for the late updates.

I have received my PPR on Apr 7th.
Sent passport to Ottawa VO on Apr 8th.
Return tracked activated on Apr 13th.
Got the passport back on Apr 17th.
Did the landing procedures on Prescott border on Apr 17th.

Landing process was smooth. We entered the USA border. USA immigration refused our arrival and asked us to go back to Canada. Handed us a letter that we need to show at Canadian immigration.

Canadian immigration personnel asked us to provide with our passports, copr and our work permits. And the security officer said the magic words, "Congratulations, you are immigrants of Canadian now".

Thanks everyone for the support on this process.

Congratulations!!
Did you carried any Proof of Funds? Did they ask for it?

What do you mean?
Can you explain please?

CRS have dropped to 415. Anyone else feeling dumb for not waiting couple of months and possibly avoiding 'PNP-treatment'? :P

With you

125 days post AOR still waiting for golden email. How much more patient we can be. Two friend (direct CEC) of mine got it with 60days post AOR and they already landed and waiting for PR card. I am still at the same position waiting for PPR. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ I feel bad that why did I choose the PNP route I should have waited little more. Wasted a lot of money should have save some money. I don't get the difference between CEC and PNP inland apps. they both almost the same except for 600 points.
