Hope PPR rains for PNP-I late Nov guys this Tuesday evening ;D ;D ;D ;D

jan 20th aor pnp-in, no update, not even medical,
(1) you guys think ordering gcms notes would be beneficial OR
(2) calling cic and asking for an update has that been helpful? as I've heard they don't give much info and say you still haven't crossed the 6 month period.
also I'm going thru a consultant, can i still order the gcms notes myself ?

Regards
Salman

Have you talked to your consultant first?
I think you should just call cic if you are that worried. It doesn't hurt to give a try. Or just do both options...I had the same frustration before when I applied for post graduate work permit. I called several times to ask why I have not received my work permit, and one of the time the agent on the phone actually told me what happened.

Good luck!

Guys...

So sorry for the late updates.

I have received my PPR on Apr 7th.
Sent passport to Ottawa VO on Apr 8th.
Return tracked activated on Apr 13th.
Got the passport back on Apr 17th.
Did the landing procedures on Prescott border on Apr 17th.

Landing process was smooth. We entered the USA border. USA immigration refused our arrival and asked us to go back to Canada. Handed us a letter that we need to show at Canadian immigration.

Canadian immigration personnel asked us to provide with our passports, copr and our work permits. And the security officer said the magic words, "Congratulations, you are immigrants of Canadian now".

Thanks everyone for the support on this process.

Hello Eugenie2016 was that a PGWP or BOWP you applied for?

Zainy

Thank,

It's a PGWP, but I would say same importance as a BOWP as my company won't be able to hire me if I don't have it.
At that time, the processing time was 2 weeks, but I received it after 1 month and 2 weeks..

My point is..there is really nothing we can do once we submit the application. But if you call CIC, you may find an answer of the delay.

Wow the processing was showing 2 weeks and it took 1 month and 2 weeks to get your BOWP approved I can only imagine the processing time on my application which is making me worry with my work permit close to expiry, thanks for sharing Eugenie2016

And guess what the reason was for the delay? I was told that the printer for the batch that I was in was not working..And it has to be that printer for that batch.....

Hi everyone,
My bg check just changed to not applicable from In progress.
CIC never asked for my rcmp. Does that mean they don't need it anymore?
What will be the next stage of processing?

Thanks
