I am so disappointed and almost lost my entire motivation due to this long processing of CIC. Honestly, my enthusiasm and euphoria to become a part of Canada quite shaken! Provincial nomination process made me feel a part of my province. But the federal level of immigration process is almost hostile because it feels you as if you are a criminal or a security risk. This is annoying and making Canada look bad. CIC is not Canada, but it is one of the doors/windows of Canada opening to the world, and it is representing this country, damn! I think this is not good for adaptation of immigrants and identity-building process of immigrants.
Whatever the reason might be for the delay, giving PR status can be much faster (as in other countries that are competing with Canada!). I know countries that process even citizenship applications in 3 months (I am talking about processing times after the application)!
Those things are some points I started to think about after I reached my 6 months of processing time.
Anyways, thank you Andre.
I hope we can still get it in a reasonable time.
But if you ask me I don't feel the same way anymore as when I started my provincial level immigration process.
I know the feeling, we will get there!
There was another applicant here from BC PNP with military bkground as well who was in the 'PNP Secure Outstanding' group and got PPR in 6.5 months, let's have faith!
Cheers!

Hi Andre,
Thank you very much for your very motivating message.
Can you send me your cellphone number as private message so that we can exchange info via Whattsapp?
Best,

My AOR Date was 23 Jan 2017. I am in same state not even medicals passed. From the tracker i can see some one else with same date had their medicals passed on 3 Apr 2017. I am getting worried now, if they forgot my file or if any other problem. I too am not sure what to do.

My AOR is Feb 1st and no change in my profile. It says they are still reviewing eligibility :(.

Dear PNP-Inland friends,
PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEIR GCMS NOTES:
Can you please look at the 1. page of your notes? You'll see a title "Group". What is written over there? Mine is "Secure Outstanding".
I would like to compare it with yours. Especially people who received PPR.
Please help.

I've been waiting since Aug 26, 2016. I think my group and everything else is same as yours. Group name - 2-L7QTRYG and category PV2 and Group name - PNP (It was PNP secure outstanding before.)

You will get PPR very soon.

In exactly 1 week I will have completed my 6 months of waiting and enter in my 7th month!
I wasn't expecting this when I received my AOR on 12 October.

It looks like secure is not outstanding anymore for you, which means it is completed, for sure a good sign, hope you get PPR soon! Good luck!
