Matt,

Were you able to call the MP's office directly? Did you hear anything hopeful?

Not yet. I want to wait until 11 April (six months will be over), and next day I'll call him.
I cannot believe that I am coming closer to the 7th month!!! Damn!

Guys !! Any idea on how long it takes to complete the BG check for PNP inland applicants? My medicals passed last week and BG section says 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'

Shouldn't it take lesser time for PNP inland applicants as the BG check was already done by the respective province except criminal check?

You are half way. I assume you are Jan AOR. now BG In process will change to Not applicable in few days and then after 1-2 months, it will go again in process. and after that in a month you will get PPR.

Check my timeline. We Nov AOR people got BG in process second time in March and we are still waiting for PPR. so hope you get in another 2-3 months period as PNP inland applications are processed very slowly.

First BG check only does biometric and criminality. second BG is for security check.

I asked the below in another thread. I hope some of you PNP CEC inland applicants can give more insight.

I have submitted my application for myself and my wife who is on 'Visitor visa' till April 2018. Now my spouse needs to travel back home for 6 months duration some time in mid of June 2017.

1) Can i submit my passports alone incase if i get PPR ? If so should i inform them that i am not sending my wife's passports for some reasons?
2) If i get PR , Can my spouse still travel back to Canada with her visitor visa which is valid till April 2018? so that i can sponser while my spouse is here?

Need Help Here! plz

I have questions regarding to my status:

Medical: You do not need medical Exam, we will.... (Is this a pass or pending?

BG: Your application is in progress, next step is...(Is BGS started?)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

PNP!

AOR 7th JAN :(
