Hello Experts,

Need your help. I am Dec 03 (AOR) pnp inland applicant and I called CIC last Monday regarding my file and apparently agent told me that decision has been made on my file and processing office sent out the email on 25th May. But agent didn’t tell me what is that email for..

After that I checked with my representative to see if we receive any correspondence but there is nothing and we both also even check our spam/junk folders. Also, there is no change in CIC account for which my representative has an access..

On Tuesday, I called CIC again and asked them to resend the email but this time to different email address but not received anything yet.

Does anyone face similar issue before or any idea how long does it take to receive the email?
Is it right to contact CIC again and again because I am in limbo ..

I am hoping this will not any negative impact on my application.
Your input and guidance will be greatly appreciated on this

Hello Everyone,

I submitted a web form to change my email address on 22 nd May. I called cic and they mentioned that there is currently no email address associated with my application and it will take a month to update that information on my file. According to the agent in the mean time, if there is any communication that need to be sent out to me it will either by mail or via message in my cic account.

I am not worried about it now.

Anyone with same expreience?

From the looks of it, it might take more than 6 months of processing time for our files.
Hard to predict that. I have seen (and I'm sure you have too) cases that have gone from AOR to PPR in two months. I guess its just a matter of our files not being withheld and being acted upon. Lets hope that we get PPR in a month.

What is your stream and timeline?

My BGC is still 'in progress'. I called CIC yesterday and they say that criminality and eligibility is still under progress. But they told me that my file was forwarded to CPC Ottawa on 27th April. So that means the file is complete otherwise they would have rejected my file by this time.
HI Syed,

Where do you think eligibility and criminality gets passed? Is it at CIO or CPC? According to Gcms notes CIO passes criminality by following PCC and recommend eligibility pass? Is this right or there is something else into it. Regards

Essentially, it should happen at CIO, but in the case of my application, they had asked for RCMP on 14th April and I uploaded on 25th April. On 27th April, my file transferred to CPC Ottawa and from there on wards, I have no idea what is happening with my file. I have already ordered my GCMS notes so lets see what they say.

Thanks for your reply.
My AOR is 28th Jan
Medical passed 10th April and same day background processing started.
On 3rd of May I got a message for ADR.They requested me to submit birth certificate for my son with name of parents and i uploaded requested document on 9th of May. The message I am having on my profile is : additional document is uploaded. Do you also have the same message? And even background check is still in process. Do you think my criminality is passed as they haven't requested RCMP from us.

Yes I have the same message. Well I cannot say for sure for your criminality. Either call CIC or order your GCMS notes.
