Hi All,

I called CIC today and they said that my file is at CPC Ottawa. It was at Sydney, Nova Scotia before. How long does it take to process file at CPC Ottawa..??
Prior to medicals being being passed, all applications are processed at CIO Nova Scotia. Once medicals are passed and applications are cleared of with R10 check, the application is then transferred to Ottawa. Here they check the eligibility, some times criminality also and security before they finalize the application.

So should I expect my BOWP approved soon..? As I heard that you will get your bridging work permit onceR10 check done.

What I have heard is that if you get your BOWP, your eligibility does pass around the same time.
Okay ...So I haven't received my BOWP yet so what I assume is eligibility is still in process..

a very funny thing just happend..i found the application status as "updated" when i entered into the application i found the BG as in progress (as it was) i assume i didnt catch it turning to NA and back to IP2 :S :S damn that was so fast

Same this just happened to me now...

My application status showed "Updated" this morning but the BG is still in progress.

Hi Mushtaq,
Were you able to get your PPR? In hoe many days did it take for you from IP2 to PPR? Thanks
Unfortunately no PPR yet, I called them the other day after a week my BG went to IP2. She said that background check is in progress which is done by third party so I cannot tell you how long this would take but everything else is okay and we don't need anything from you. I did not get into much discussion with her cz first I was at work and secondly she is probably looking at a screen and dont think she knows much herself, so I guess just have to wait.

How about yours ?
