I was hoping I could move to Canada before the olympics gets over!!! But looks like I may be settling down south of border after all!!

I received AOR on Jun 30, 2009. On 24-Feb-10 the app was transferred to New York, NY.

My file got transferred to Ny, NY today from Buffalo as well! Keeping my fingers crossed for a quick med request.

So far I have not heard anything from New York office. I has been two month since my file was transferred to New York from Buffalo.

I am writing in with a query of mine; just wanted to make an estimate with other processing times.

Below is my status update:

Country: Canada
Visa Office......: Buffalo
NOC: 0213
Appl sent: August 05th, 2009 (Nova Scotia - Centralized Intake Office)
Appl rcvd at NS: August 10th, 2009
Pre-Assessed..: Yes: 30th September, 2009
Buffalo rcvd full docs: 14th Jan, 2010
Acknowledgement from Buffalo: 11th March. 2010 (File # created)
File Transfer...: New York, New York Visa Office: 11th May 2010

My current status in e-cas shows: File received at visa office. Is there anyone around the same time line as me. I am currently on a work permit which expires in August, previously my employer got a LMO for 2 years but this time it was not approved by Service Canada. So the overall wait is making me more tensed.

Please update if there is anyone who is in the same timeline like me or could estimate a time duration at the New York processing office.

Well, it 's pretty sure that you will move to Canada before next olympics...lol:>
The way they are handling the applications at Buffalo, someone can just wait and wait and wait.......
