anyone received PPR from Edmonton lately? Its been 68 days post AoR for me. Called CIC couple of weeks back and was told that Eligibility met, and background in progress. The agent mentioned that the file looks good. Can someone advise what doest it mean?

Friend, you should expect PPR after 120 to 140 days of AOR.

Earlier than that is very rare.

Yeah day on day and week on week seems to be rolling off but the wait seems never ending near to 230 days and counting... I pray this week brings some good news to atleast some of us...

it looks like Edmonton works for certain categories faster - maybe there are some of officers who are efficient on approving

Edmonton CPC has been approving lots of applications lately, they are killing their backlog. I wonder why IRCC would be so slow.

It is common to wait close to 6 months from AOR to PPR, but recently there have been some applications processed in as short a time as 2-3 months. Unfortunately it just isn't possible to tell what will happen until it happens.
