Anyone's application got processed in Edmonton visa office?

Looks like Edmonton has - CPC and LVO both!

It would be nice to know if our file is with CPC or moved to LVO!!!

This is guys confirm my assumption about the Edmonton IRCC vs CPC. It appears that Edmonton CPC has less backlog. unfortunately, mine is in IRCC

Hi everyone,
I had ghost update on Friday and I called ircc this morning and the agent told me that my application is approved, and I got my passport request email this morning and my passport is sent too.
Here is my timeline:
AOR March 8
MEP April 15
IP2 April 18
Visa office: EDMONTON
PPR: July 15
Called ircc several times but during the last call on Friday July 12, the agent told me my eligibility was still recommended passed, security hadn't started, criminality passed. But then in the evening I got the ghost update.
Edmonton is really working for me even it seemed that it’s not at the beginning.

Very true. I called a CIC agent through call centre and requested info about my PPR from Edmonton Office. She told me that's scam email and we don't have office in Edmonton. I literally had a mini heart attack.

I have just got a response from the MP. IRCC cannot provide timelines. the MP's assistant is frustrated because she told me that other VOs provide a forward date for delayed applications while Edmonton does not do the same.
What should we do now rather than waiting in this office? Please note that the moved applications earlier through this week had Ottawa as primary office while Edmonton as secondary. This is not the case for most of us where we have Edmonton as the primary office (i.e we are stuck)

Guys I finally got my Update as Approved today exactly on the estimated date of PR completion. I am waiting for my Passport in mail this week. It almost took me 7 months , Dec 13, 2018 to July 17,2019. Yes my case was processed in CPC Edmonton office. When I received the PPR email, I wanted to verify with CIC centre. The agent told me that it is scam email and asked me to ignore the email. Thank God , I came here and took your suggestions for each of my process. Both me and my husband got our passport and expecting in mail. Any suggestion on Landing ??I am an Inland applicant and my husband is in India.

Hi in my case secondary VO is VO Edmonton, what does that actually mean, do they actually process applications there. My primary VO is CPC Ottawa and I also spoke to an agent a month ago and he said the VO is CPC Ottawa.

Your thoughts will be appreciated.

Hi Loyal, thanks for your response and I just had a look at my gcms and it states, Secondary office - CPC Edmonton, I spoke to an agent last month or so and he said my file is currently at CPC Ottawa, I really do not know on which to relate to.

I am expecting my notes today. If not may be tomorrow. Also i have an appointment lined up with my local MP on Thursday. I don't know what he can do but hope for the best. I am really fed up. My dream job is literally waiting on a plate and i am not able to do anything as i am still stuck with my closed WP

I'm on the same boat. I had a new offer but employer doesn't want to employ me unless I get the PR. Anyways, I lost it 3 weeks ago and thanks for IRCC.
