Anyone? Work permit application with LMIA- Paper application at NY

Has anyone recently applied for a work permit application with an LMIA?

How long does it usually take for a paper application?

I am an employer and my employee sent his work permit via UPS to VAC New York May 7, 2015. He is currently in Canada. Haven't heard anything yet...not even email for the ID tracking number.

Anyone know long it will take for them to email the ID tracking number?

i have submitted on 14th May and i got the tracking ID on 18th

Your application should almost be finished by now. My employee submitted his work permit application to VAC New York via UPS May 7, 2015. He received letter July 29, 2015 stating that his work permit application has been approved. So it took about 1-1/2 months for the process to complete.

Will go to the border tomorrow to flagpole for his work permit

Did you apply in person at the NY VAC,also did you submit your passport along with it. Can you provide a sense of your timelines. I applied in person at NY VAC on June 9th, so trying to get a sense of timelines. Thanks in advance!!

I have not applied in person. I have sent the paper documents through Fedex. I have applied on 21st May and got a request for additional documents and on 26th the process actually started. Got approval on 1st July

Anyone there still waiting for an answer who applied for work permit in July? I have applyed online on 31 July, Facebook page shows that thei are processing 1of August. ....so anyone from July still waiting? Thanks
