Hi all,

Today I have got my successful ECA assessment for my SCDL diploma from IQAS.
My docs were received by them on 02-08-2017 and they acknowledged regarding the receipt of docs on 31-08-2017.

Today I got email from IQAS that my ECA assessment has been completed and soft copy was attached. Hard copy will follow by courier.
I know lot of ppl were asking about SCDL assessment. So I am writing to let them know that IQAS assesses SCDL diploma.

Great to know that SCDL is recognized. Now, if you can help me out in filling the form wherein, the IQAS ask for "DATE OF INSTRUCTIONS FROM TO" but i don't have, as this is a distance learning course.

Help me out on this.

I didn't send bachelors to them as I had already assessed my bachelors from WES two years ago. I did not send any recognition letter to them.

Thanks for the update. I have a question if my bachelors are evaluated by WES. And now I want by symbiosis PGDBA to be accessed by IQAS. Do I need to send my bachelors again to IQAS? or I can update WES for bachelors and PGDBA from IQAS. Please help me understand. Thanks for your help.

You can enter any close date as per your knowledge. (like 1st July)

Hi all

It’s good to read that some of u got SCDL degree recognised. Congrats for that.

I did MDIT Masters Diploma in International Trade from SIMS which was under SCDL during 2003. I checked on SCDL website , they are UGC approved from 1995 onwards. but everywhere it only talks about PG.. in their certificate of UGC. Not MD.. (masters Diploma ). When I called up SCDL last week the guy said it’s same thing. Did any one of also face same thing of Masters degree from SIMS and got it recognised from IQAS??
Pl advice.

But won’t this cause contradiction as in ur application form (from - to) date will be diff from the transcript which will go from SCDL??

No, I did not get any update/information. I am debating if it is worth doing? As the ones with approval are from 2010. I have seen some post that SIMS was granted status from 2010.

I asked this same question to IQAS and below is what they replied on email:

In cases where the issuing institution cannot send transcripts directly to IQAS, they may provide you with a sealed envelope with your attested transcripts enclosed which may be couriered by you to our office. The envelope must remain sealed, and has to be stamped with the institution’s official seal across the back flap. If there are concerns about the integrity of the documents, our office will contact you.

Can you please confirm if you got Transcripts directly mailed from University to IQAS?
Their website says documents to be directly mailed. Just wanted to be sure on this, coz I already have transcripts with me in sealed envelopes, getting it mailed from university to IQAS will be time consuming.

Exactly I was awarded in 2006, but in 2010 also SCDL was not recognized... I think they only got that a year or two back... I am thinking to take a chance
