I got my SCDL evaluated from IQAS as "The PG Diploma generally compares to the completion of a university diploma with a focus in business admin and marketing mgmt". Is this the same you got as well? If so, what did you select for this particular study in your application from the below choices?

Could you please help me with what should be level of education be selected for the PGDBA course while creating express entry profile options, as the duration of our course is not mentioned in IQAS ECA. I could see below 2 below options available in the express entry profile options:
> Two-year program at university ,college,trade, or technical school, or other institute.
> One-year program at university ,college,trade, or technical school, or other institute.

Is there a reason that ECA has report does not mention about the duration of SCDL PGDBA course and have only written it as a University Diploma.

Yes, I've got the same description in my evaluation. Your next question is a good one, I had exactly the same question because IQAS hasn't specified duration of course in Canadian comparative level. After some thought, I selected "Two year program...", for two reasons:
1. My batch date and my graduation date (as mentioned on my diploma and mark sheet) are two years apart.
2. IQAS report specified "one-and-half-year" in Indian education section, so I rounded it off to 2.

Did you got your PR processed successfully on basis of this SCDL university diploma and claimed points under Two or more degrees/diplomas. Or are you yet to get an Invitation to Apply

I am thinking of selecting the option of "Two-year program at university ,college,trade, or technical school, or other institute." for this SCDL university diploma as it was a 2 years course for me.

IQAS ECA also quoted below statement. Pls refer this...

Comparative Levels of Achievement in Canada:

- The Bachol's degree generally compares to the completion of a three-year Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
- The Post Graduation Diploma generally compares to the completion of a University Diploma with a focus in business administration, marketing management and operations management.

Yes, this is same for me and as per the examples I have seen , it is same for many other people. I am just curious to see if anyone has successfully got a PR through using the SCDL diploma.

It should probably be 3 years Bachelor might be equal to 3 years Bachelors. And the SCDL course might be University certificate. I think IQAS awards certificate for short term courses and diploma for long term courses.

Hi all,

Today I have got my successful ECA assessment for my SCDL diploma from IQAS.
My docs were received by them on 02-08-2017 and they acknowledged regarding the receipt of docs on 31-08-2017.

Today I got email from IQAS that my ECA assessment has been completed and soft copy was attached. Hard copy will follow by courier.
I know lot of ppl were asking about SCDL assessment. So I am writing to let them know that IQAS assesses SCDL diploma.

Guys an update just got my eca report my scdl pgdbf as positive it mentions in the report as equivalent to university diploma all the best for others waiting for it and I would like to thank the forum members who earlier guided all in this process .also for members info timeline it took is 2.5 months from when they got my documents

What’s the reason behind picking “one year” over “two years”? It anyway does not change your CRS points. Moreover, IQAS evaluation doesn’t not specify the duration of course.
I’m saying this because I’ve used “two years” option, just because the duration from my admission to my degree was two years.

I’ve received ITA after by claiming SCDL University Diploma, which helped me get more CRS points due to “two or more degree/Certificate” category. My application is still under process.

I also used “two year program” for the same reason as yours.
