I really prey ours doesnt take as long as urs, must be real tough to have no response for soooo long.

hi i am being processes in colombia... 10 to 18 months is what it says on cic... but i have seen cases that goes faster lately a lot of poeple in other sites is saying that they are hiring more officer to process the visas..... so crossing my fingers! i
f your process is taking so long you should ask for the phone of your MP and talk to him directly... he is suppose to help you and to see if something is wrong with your application you should apply for the notes they sell you on internet.. i forgot the name but i write back in a second for it... hope things get better... but dont forget is a slow embassy...

Pretty forward case for my wife, 8 months and no more then the AOR letter, 6 months later the PPR, and another month after she receive the passport in the mail... any more other contact with the embassy.
Did you have a special case, divorce, children, deportation???
Bogota start processing our application in august 28, 2009 and we receive the visa in the beginning of may 2010.
I hear too that they have another new Visa officer.

If it right... YOU NEED TO BE IN CANADA for sponsoring someone... maybe is one of the reason your husband application is taking time !!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't use them but sound like a good iidea if things are not going the usual way and you are not getting info from anyone....
