Someone told me that they are yet to invite IT professionals (Noc 2174) who belong to FSW category (no Canadian work experience) for OOPNP.

Can someone prove me wrong plss?

Good one..
Are you sure? The reason I ask is.. my brother meets all the criteria (profile created after June 1'st..bla bla) and has an EE score of 439, but is yet to get an invite. I heard of other cases too that have not been invited yet with the same noc. So it makes me think, they have some criteria to go by (God knows what!)

no as per them no such criteria.

but they have a disclaimer that even if you meet the criteria it is not necessary that they will invite you so they can manipulate.....

Hi xilji,

When did you resubmit your EE profile? I'm 2171 and just resubmitted today.

Yes I have received PT for OOPNP. I have no ties with Canada, never study/work/visited before. I don't think there is any filter by NOC code.

Be patient and wait for your turn.

Good Luck!

Hi psharma.np,

May I please know what your NOC is? And when you re-submitted? Thanks!

Urgent question to those that got a PT already:

When you recreated your profile, did you use your original GCkey or created a new one?

Please reply as I think I see a trend where those who got a PT used their original GCkey to create a new EE profile.
What I did is to create a fresh GCkey and everything and I haven't got a PT yet. Maybe this is the reason? O_O

This is slightly out of desperation, but maybe there's a connection so please share your feedback.

Thank you very much!

psharma.np would you please kindly tell me if you had P.Eng. license when you applied for OOPNP? I am NOC2173 and I have not sent any license.

Yep, I used my original CG Key. I see some folks here creating new CG Keys but I don't know why. I guess it doesn't matter.
The way I see it, a new CG key is just another database record (I'm 2174) :D.
I recreated my profile on the 10th of June, got PT couple of hours after.

Good luck!

Yes I used the old GCKey. And, I don't have license. I think Software Engineer does not require license in Ontario.

Thanks.
