Hello, please I need some clarification on this NOC 0711.
Is it applicable for a project manager working for a consultant firm and who supervises the work carried out by contractors on behalf of their clients.
I need the clarification because the Lead Statements and example titles on the noc.esdc.gc.ca page generally refers to someone working in a construction firm.

Hello all,

I know this is a very old thread.. but I need some information about using NOC code 0711 for my SINP application.

I have done Masters in Networks & Telecom which was assessed to be equivalent to 04 years bachelors degree and I am also a candidate for PMP but have not taken the test yet. Meanwhile, I have been working as a Planning Engineer for construction companies in GCC and home country with an experience of 10+ years as a Project Planner. The roles that I have been performing are matching the ones outlined for NOC code 0711 as the projects that I oversee or have been involved with belong to Telecom Infrastructures, Airports, Oil & Gas, Buildings, offices and restaurant constructions that involve all major trades including civil, MEP, telecom, Network etc. I am currently working on EXPO 2020 project which is also a major milestone for my career path.

So am I selecting the correct NOC code for applying for SINP based on the JD and same experience that I have? Kindly advise.

u r not alone man, i'm also NOC0711, in fact i agree with u, i've never seen anyone here or in any other forums applying under NOC0711

We should relax not worry that we r few, i think this give us a better chance,
