Anyone who has experience with IDP revaluation from India

Hello everyone,

I was thinking of getting my IELTS test revaluated and the only
thing which I am concerned about is do we usually hear back from them within 6-8 weeks.
Also, since I assume that IDP india would be sending my examination paper to
IDP Australia, it would take time because of postage and all.
That's why just wondering how long does it take to receive the updated marksheet...

Has anyone got any ideas....

Re-evaluation is not advisable as there's risk of points being get reduced. if there is any near slot available why don't you give a second shot. If you are very confident then probably you could check on re-evaluation.

I've done this before. not worth. although the entire time including every thing is maxxxxx 8 weeks, the re evaluation isn't worth unless you have a very strong reason and confidence that your marks will change fit sure.

I understand that revaluation has it's risks but its not like I had any other choice.
And as you already might be knowing that you don't get IELTS dates any sooner than next month here in India so I managed to register for 8th Oct.

When I got my Result ( delayed by 5 weeks ) I realised it won't work as I had 6.5 in writing.
After the exam I had told my friends and family that I expect the highest score in writing. ( irony be damned!! )
I got 6.5 in writing while 8 and above 8 in other modules.
So I had to send it for revaluation so that I could live in peace for the rest of my life. Just one last try to see if I really wrote that bad....
By the way my last writing score was 8.

I was just thinking going for both would increase the chances of at least one thing to do the trick...

Also, word of advice to any one who is reading.
Please give your IELTS exam 3 months in advance...
coz you never know what might happen...delayed result... insufficient bands...
