Anybody who did medical @ Dr Lyndon got update from CIC?

Has ECAS been updated ? Or
Received PPR? Or
Received reply from OttPilot that medicals have been received?

Anybody from earlier months with successful ECAS updates / PPR request?

Please update.

Thanks!

Hi there
My fiancee did her medicals from there last tuesday (12th novmeber) and the ecas got updated day before yesterday (18th november)...the ecas still says "in process" but when u click on it it further tells you that the medicals have been received. nothing else from CIC other than the automated replies when i send in the receipt and proof of medicals

Good to hear !

I did mine on 6th November. Still no updates on ECAS. But I see that GCMS is updated with medical received. It all depends on individual VO.

May I ask when did you submit your CEC application?

It takes about 2 weeks for them to receive your medical. However, these 2 weeks are not a guarantee that you'll hear from CIC. So don't count on those things. The CIC also doesn't seem to update your status either to Medical Received, unless it seems there is a delay in your background checks etc.

Just wanted to add my experience, and a tip. Dr. Mascarenhas is quick and efficient. Not particularly friendly, but not rude either. He wants to get you in and out, and that is likely what you want too.

As a heads up, if you have supplemental insurance (such as Greenshield) they will cover the blood and urine tests as well as the x-ray, but only if you have receipts from the providers. You will not get these receipts if you go through Dr. Mascarenhas and so can save money by going to a different immigration doctor.

What is done during the exam other that the blood work, the x-ray and the urine?

What is that medical checkup really? Questions, visual inspection for any signs of operations, blood pressure, chest/heart auscultation?

If you have to do a follow-up for something does the dr Mascaranhas send you to a specific lab? We may need to repeat x-ray and I'm thinking we can do that anywhere.
