Anyone went for medical exam to Dr. Lyndon at St. clair, Toronto?

The used the picture on my application, so guess that's why the photo was requested. It might still be optional though, but would just bring it just in case.
Got told that it might take a couple of weeks for the results to be uploaded ( ), basically as soon as they get them returned they will upload.

Had to pay $250 cash. Never had such a medical examination done before so I cannot compare it, but the price seems to be very steep for what you get.

I think 2 weeks is the maximum time. Based on reviews in this forum, results are sent to CIC in the range of 3 days to 2 weeks.

I agree that 250 is a bit expensive, but most doctors in Toronto downtown charge around 250. There are cheaper ones in Mississauga and other suburbs, but wait time is longer.

Does anyone has better insight in how long it takes to receive the results back, how come is varies between 3 days and 2 weeks? That doesn't make a lot of sense with me. Doesn't these things have set procedures and therefore should always take approx. the same time?

Some doctors don't include x ray and blood test fee. They send you to a different place where you need to pay yourself.

I don't know the reason behind 2 week time - I guess t depends on individual case where lab tests take more time. I guess labs send results to the doctor In batches - may be once a week.

Don't hope for that. Usually takes him 8-12 days.

but, really it should not take more 2-3 days to get lab results, given that everything is done using modern technologies!

did you do your medical at his place? how long did he take to upload your results?

Lab takes just 2-3 days indeed, but i guess he prefers to use his time to accept more new patients than uploading the results to CIC in a more timely manner Anyhow, the timing is set up front so i consider it is fair. Yes, I did at Dr. Lyndon's office, took 9 days to upload.

I called on Nov 5th. Receptionist told Dr Lyndon is busy on 6th, but she can accommodate me in the afternoon

How about lab results (blood, urine and x ray) - who uploads these results? The lab / doctor?

So i just got a reply from CIC that they didn't receive my medicals yet! (i did inquire them before as i didn't see any status change on the ECAS). I did the medicals checks on Oct, 16 and my results were uploaded on the 25th (so it is claimed by the office). So what's the hold up there? Did anyone experience the same issue?
I am wondering if this is a CIC issue or Dr's office one...

I did call them and they checked again and said the results were uploaded and it must be some CIC issue. I also emailed CIC with the tracking sheet info and confirmation of medical check I got from the Dr....now all is left is to wait again. I just hate to see how weeks after weeks are wasted...Hope my results will be found somewhere.
