Anyone successful in picking up citizenship certificate?

Has anyone tried picking up the certificate from IRCC office after ceremony? How are they handling expedite requests for certificates? Please share your experiences.

IRCC doesn't ship express, unless the first one is lost in the mail and the applicant request it's sent express based on one anecdote.

One of our windsor (urgent processing) member did pickup in Aug(i think). You can certainly ask during the oath and they might tell what option they have.
Surely many received the certificate in few days too based on the request on travel etc.

Yeah, I remember. But that was for urgent processing. I have sent in all the information the clerk asked for during the ceremony and still havent heard anything. I'm assuming they didnt heed my request.

But you havent attend oath, correct? So you will have to wait till oath day to find out.

I didnt request for urgent pickup. I have seen post on it. So you can try requesting to see if they agree or doable.

Hey i did my oath last week . Can I ask for urgent certificate based on health issues I have ? And that I need to be with my family . Or is that going to be a problem ?
