Hello ,

I have submitted my out of Canada online degree official transcripts (as part of it was completed during the last 4 years) . Although I have submitted my official transcripts copy alongwith my degree , however I have realized that my official (out of Canada ) transcripts did not cover every calendar year . Unfortunately , the format followed by my university does not show the courses completed with the specific semester and year completed . The transcripts just show the courses completed alongwith grade and GPA .

Has anyone submitted his out of Canada education transcripts which do not show the courses completed with the specific semester and year completed and got them accepted ?

Kindly advise !

Thank you for your time.

I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that the applicant must be studying English throughout the 4 years before applying for citizenship? You just need to provide transcript, diploma or certificate showing that you graduated from a secondary school or from a post-secondary program in Canada or abroad at ANYTIME in your life.

Anyone submitted out of Canada transcripts as edu records for the last 4 yrs ?

Well I submitted my education records NOT as a language proof but as a proof of my last 4 years education as I did complete my degree during the last 4 years . As per CIC website one needs to submit his education records (if any) from the last 4 years.

I am hope I am clear this time !

So you were physically in Canada but taking online courses with a school outside Canada? That might trigger RQ, just so you are aware. Best way to contact school records and get something when you attended. A letter should suffice.

Yup , I moved to Canada in 2011 . At that time I was already pursuing an online degree and completed some portion of it while living in Canada .

Thanks for your suggestion , fortunately I was able to get an official letter from my University stating the duration of my study and mentioning that I have always remained an online student .I have submitted that letter as well mith my application and hope that could suffice . Having said that , I am concerned about the format of my transcripts which do not show the courses completion semesterwise , instead it shows all my courses completed altogether and the result date (degree requirements completion date). I submitted that transcript as I was under the impression that as long as its an official transcript ,it will be accepted by CIC .However , now it seems that it won't :(

You have already submitted what you have and nothing you can do now but wait. I wouldnt worry too much, even RQ's are processed fast now.

here in Quebec we have MICC who evaluate our International transcript and diploma. based on the evaluation(in my case) when i submitted my College Transcript and Diploma (Philippines) to MICC, I got the evaluation saying that my Transcript is equivalent to CEGEP(Pre University) Then I used it for Language proof (as the application need to be atleast equivalent to high school graduate). We are lucky becuase in Phils English is our second language. I dont submit any EILTS or Any Language Certificate.
