Anyone still waiting for Study permit decision since 2020?

I applied for my student visa in december 2020 with spouse open work permit visa. My medical and biometric is updated but review not started .My spouse medical , biometric updated and review also started.How strange is this that ircc can start review for dependent ignoring the student? I have completed my 2 semesters online and filled Leave of absence form .

You can call IRCC client support on +1-888-242-2100, but this number only works if called from a Canadian number. So you will need a Canadian number to call, you can use apps like textnow or skype.

Where have you applied from? When your medical expires, IRCC usually sends a re-medical request if they need it. For some people they just use the old one but for others they send a new request. All you can do is wait.

Where have you applied from? When your medical expires, IRCC usually sends a re-medical request if they need it. For some people they just use the old one but for others they send a new request. All you can do is wait.

Yes, that is what IRCC suggests. If you do not receive the request even after 2-3 weeks after the expiry of medical, you should contact IRCC. Also, have you applied for September 2021?

Oooh okayy. If the file is complete, like biometric done and medical pass, and if the elgibility review has started, they usually give a result soon. But cannot say anything these days. Maybe contact IRCC via a webform or call.

Last time when I ask active in this forum, I came across a SPREADSHEET that had a status update for all SP (like approved/rejected/pending ). That was great help as we could see whats been the updates on visa , if anyone has a link to that sheet, please can you share.

I already got one rejection last year in MAY.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Will this August 6th guarantee apply for old applications awaiting for response? By old I mean they've been pending since 2020.
