Hi Seniors,

I heard CIC was accepting EPF as proof fund previously but not under express entry system.

Is that true?

Has any one shown EPF (Employee Provident Fund) as proof of fund under express entry system ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ravi.

I believe the best is to withdraw the EPF just to be on the safe side. I too have done the same, even waiting for my Wife's EPF to be withdrawn, and as it is directly deposited in the account, so it is a genuine POF.

Regards

I believe they are going to implement online withdrawal of PF option from the end of March, 2016. Tens of thousands of people are going to be benefited from this!

For OOPNP, I have shown EPF + savings account + MF Investments (that I redeemed). :D

MF Investments withdrawn? Or just shown under POF? Was it successful or did you add a LOE?

It mutual funds are redeemed/liquidated/withdrawn, then the proceeds can be shown as POF. It would be better to have an LOE which explains the sudden surge in the account balance, supported by proof of mutual fund redemption. The mutual funds has to be in the primary applicant's name.

Guys,

For Indian EPF is the online statement attested from PF office is that enough or should we need to get the letter or direct statement from PF office

I am confused how to show "the average balance for the past six months.", some one Please suggest.

Your inputs are needed badly.

!!!!!!IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION!!!!!!

I had raised a CSE last month to Delhi Visa Office (India) asking them if EPF can be used as proof of funds. To my surprise, this morning, received a mail from them telling that , YES, EPF can be used as Proof of Funds.

I have added the screenshot in my google drive. You can view it by clicking on the link below.

Somebody might find this information useful. So, I'm posting it here.

Please note that I got this information from the Canadian High Commission in India. This response might hold good only for Indian applicants.

Thanks rajkamalmohanram for the confirmation.

Hi Stanlee,
I'm unsure about MF investments. I have two active SIPs. Can I show them as PoF or do I need to liquidate them?
