anyone share their application timeline from hong kong vo?

I'm just wondering how fast they process our application now since they r moving the Hong Kong vo office soon
One more question, heard cic won't request hksar passport right? I just got the aor 2abt a month now, wondering if I can start staying in Canada and wait there in Sep cos I need to book my air ticket soon,plus I'm just worrying if they ask for my passport in Aug n I will hv No passport to fly to Canada since the ppr takes up to 4mths till I get bk my passport. So I hv to make sure if they will take my passport, thanks guys ;D

Why don't you wait until you got the passport from the Hong Kong VO and then buy/change the flight to Canada?

Alternatively, you can fly to Canada before the passport request from Hong Kong VO and stay there. Just make sure when you fly over that you don't say you're 'moving' here - just that you're visiting.

I'm not sure. But I have seen in this forum, in general, the Canadian spouse take the animal as his own pet returning to Canada.

yea?but the thing is my husband nvr stay in my country,he came just for short visit,should i just tell the custom hat its my husband's cat n i m just bringing back this cat to him?

In general, it takes 7 months to proceed. Be patient

my timeline on the side, slow in step 1 due to they miss my payment receipt without notify me , lucky I ordered GCMS notes to find out this problem, another long waiting in step 2 now

you got Dm today? did you send your passport originally?
