anyone recieved visa approval for jan 2014??

Clearly inter link education with present studies and state you would come back to own country.mention clearly you want to come back take care of your parents.If you have travel history abroad thts a perfect way to prove your home ties.As you have returned before your expiry of visa.you would like to spend time in own country.Mostly depends on how you present your sop.

I showed that my parents have a fixed income, have been in the country for a very long time and sufficient funds in the bank for 6 months.

yup..did dat..n I have travel history..n one good way is too show proof of sick or old parents..so definetlely u will come to take care of them...my mom has Rheumatoid arthritis.(severe pains ) so I showed the prescribtions..plus has high blood pressure as well....

mentioned how i'll benefit by doing dat course in canada and also mentioned abt job prospects of that course in home country...this is what i did....nothing more

my medical was done on 16th September 2013, but visa still awaited from Canadian high commission Islamabad, Pakistan, anybody got any idea bout chances of getting visa and when i'll be getting the visa...

I got rejection for Jan 2014 for Dalhousie University Sad.. the reason of refusal:your proposed stdies r nt reasonable in light of 1 or more of: ur qualifications, previous stdies, employment , level of establishment, language abilities, or ur future propects and plans.
I got admission in dalhousie UNI for M.engg in internetworking. my profile is B.E (E&C) 58% (10 backlogs with repeatation) and an year gap during U.G means B.E completed in 5 years. IELTS- 6.5 (min 6 in each),also my final year project was on networking and I have also submitted a certificate from a private institute of N+, CCNA, MCSE where I have done training of these networking courses .. sufficient funds shown, but SOP was very poor... applied under university category.. now how to resolve this issue with this profile?? plz guide me, I am desparately looking for help on this as I want to re-apply soon for the same intake..
