Anyone recently changed visa stamping from cpc Ottawa to New York ?

I am trying to do so due to Indian passport issues in mailing..

I am trying to change mine from London UK to Accra, Ghana. But I haven't got a response in 7 days, I sent the mail to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Is that the way you changed yours or you did it differently to get that fast response. Thanks

Thanks for the update. I had preemptively sent them a CSE with a scan of the passport page saying it cannot be mailed; I didn't get a response to that. Once I get a PPR (fingers crossed), I'll try and get it changed to NY if they haven't already done that in response to my CSE (my GCMS notes didn't have any mention of this CSE, though it did have notes about a previous CSE).

Where did you finally got the photos done? Let me know.

What is the procedure to change VO? is it just a mail, if so, to which email id. Plz clarify.

Hi- Can anybody confirm where we should be sending mail to get the Visa Office changed and how many days it will take to reflect the change?
I am currently waiting for PPR request(AOR date: Nov 18,2015) and need to travel India by Feb end. Need to update CIC about the Address change from Canada
to India so that i can get submit my Passport post PPR(probably in March,2016) in NDVO

Sorry guys for the delayed revert as i was away for sometime


I got the COPR and passport with visa from New York two days back .

I do sent CSE to New York and Ottawa and got the revert in 4 days.

I made a similar request to change visa office from NDVO to New York and CPC sent me an updated letter to be used to submit passport. I went to Consulate at New York but was denied entry. I was asked to go to Visa Application Center at different address to submit passport. I went to Visa Application Center only to be told that they do not handle anything on Permanent Residency. It has been an extremely frustrating experience. There is a notice board at Consulate in NY stating that all non-Canadians should approach Visa Application Center for any queries but VAC has no clue on this process. Please advise if anyone has done COPR stamping at NY Consulate recently
