Anyone received their AIP in their gmail account with no update on their GC account?

I got my AIP via email and It was not updated on the GC key, it does not have an address no. As for the medical, I recieved the Medical Examination Instruction Letter to my portal and had the medical test two days later. Same day I recieved the below:

" Dear xxxxxx,

This refers to your study permit application.

Please be advised that a medical examination for was sent to you inadvertently. Please disregard it. You do not need to undergo medical examinations.


Kind regards, "


I honestly have no idea if that is a good or bad sign but I recieved the AIP same day and again couple of days later.
 
I received AIP on 13th August 2020 via email, on 1st Oct I got AIP update on GCKey Account, the letter dated 01/10/2020 with format little different from one I got in August. I don’t know the reason why.

I applied under SDS in June 2020, Completed application.

What’s the difference ? Can you please elaborate?

where did u receive aip den if not gc key?

can u share the email alias you received mail from? on ur gmail regarding aip

Both are valid. They’ll send you a letter if it was sent in error.

I’ve seen at least 2-3 people who received AIP in email got positive GCMS notes.

Moreover, the officer from the recent IRCC webinar said that they upload AIP to gckey if applicant didn’t provide an email address which mostly happens to paperbased applications. They can send AIPs to emails using ‘BELA’ - and this is the case for most online applications.

The small difference In the phrases:
“Based on this preliminary eligibility assessment, your application has advanced to the next stage of processing” was in bold
After “while you await a final decision on your application you may commence your studies online”, “if this is an option at your institution” was highlighted.
AIP I received on 01/10/2020 is the same as that people received in September.

or maybe not good at all. they may send you an AIP then refusal after. I think we have just have to wait and see.
