Anyone received PR card:Landed in August ???

Amongst all those who landed in August 2012....did u guys recieve PR cards ???

I did mine on 11 Aug,2012...still waiting ???

nope, they said 8-10 weeks. hopefully sometime in this month.

HI Guys,

I landed August 4th and still waiting for the damn PR Card. I need to fly to US soon for work and really need my PR Card ASAP.

I called CIC call center today to check the status of my PR card. They told me that I should have received my PR card by now if I landed in August 4. Then they put me on hold and came back saying that their0 system shows my PR card has not been mailed out yet. They said that they will send a message to the PR Card office to see what is going on. They said if there are any problems CIC will contact me. They also said I can follow up again in a couple of weeks.

It looks like it is taking longer than usual for first time PR cards to be mailed out.

I goy my landing done aug 14 and as per what i hear; it takes approx 44/57 business days that excludes weekends and holidays or roughly 3 months but some say it could be 2 months or so ( non biz days). So its a catch 22 situation. I called CIC as well and they say that it cannot be traced before 57 biz days or whatever they quote. I find this system so DUMB!!!

Hi Guys, my husband landed august 10, and he got his PR card october 10, so for sure your card is on it's way very soon

Was it flagpole or first time entry into canada? Also, which province?

Just called CIC and was told it will be dispatched on 14 Oct and then 6-10 days in mail to recieve. So we all can expect to receive our PR cards by the end of Oct.

Just called cic and they informed that u should get it by mid oct at the latest end of oct. if its not there by oct 29 call them back

You should get it by oct 31 for sure otherwise call them. You landed before i did and i got oct 30 deadline
