I have applied for noc# 2133 with FSW 2014. My file was delivered at cic at 23rd June 2014.
I want to know if anyone else during this time frame has sent for same or different category and received any response.
Also i would like to know from which email id cic contact us for further communication after they receives the file and what are the steps forward.

Most certainly no one from that time frame would have received a response just yet. They are still working on May 9th applications.

First your CC will be charged or DD en cashed. This should be until at least the end of August or mid September (going by the trend).

Then another 3-4 weeks at least for the PER Email. This will be the first official communication from CIC to you.

I know that the numbers are published on CIC and Canadavisa but the numbers not look realistic and almost doesn't move! for example NOC 2174 numbers shows 130 app received and the number is almost the same since the last month!

I am worried that after I submit my application (currently I am still preparing my papers) it get rejected due to the cap limit, specially that I want to apply for NOC 2174 which have the largest number of applications received.

Please advice.

Sharshabel - The answer to your question is the FSW 2014 Timeline in the Forum. That's how I know that CIC has only progressed so far as 9th May as of today.

I am not sure if I understand correct but it that means that for example NOC 2174 have 130 accepted application till 9th of May? How this people prepare and send their applications in such a short time!

If this is correct then what is my chance if I submit my application now?!! I believe I certainly will not catch the cab and CIC will reject my application.

130 is the number of completed application that CIC received (those that have received PER by now most likely). The actual number of applications that CIC has received is much higher. In fact, if you follow the thread that was posted earlier by mkshah and look at the spreadsheet, you will find that an estimated 700 people have already applied under 2174.

The only way to find out is to try it. You might make it or you might miss it! But until you send your application there's certainly 0% chance of making it!

I want to apply for either NOC 2174 or 2173 but I am not sure which one will give me better chance. I am not graduated from engineering faculty but I have 10 years experience in software engineering but certainly I will not be able to get province license.

So do you recommend that I apply for 2173 since the number of application till now is less than 2174?

I also applied for noc#2133. Application received 9th June.
Fill out the FSW2014 timeline mkshah was referring to. There you can follow status of other applicants.
