Is there anyone processing the spouse visa from Abu Dhabi office ? How long have youll been waiting for. Seems my waiting game has started. Someone said it takes 27 months ! i am confused.

Hello i am also prcoessing from Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy my application was received last December 21.2010 but untill now i still did not hear from them,they did told me when they sent the AOR that it will take 6-12 months for the processing,how about you?hope we can help updates each other here.

Am processing my application also through abu dhabi.
My husband was approved as a sponsor in 7th september
Still didn't receive AOR. How long it takes to recieve it and did they request any additional docs?

Actually when i sent my application in Abu Dhabi last December 21,2011 they received my application form then i got AOR only last June 1,2011 almost 6 months,i wait before i got AOR thru email.

Can you please share ur detailed timeline. When did u recieve ur sponsorship approval?
Did they tell u anything about the interview?

Hello what is your timeline?mine i passed my application last december 2010 but untill now i still not hear from them.its almost 12 months

The process began in Jul2009.
Since then I have been requested additional documents etc etc
Nov152011 was the interview
Nov242011 Re-Medicals received at CHC London
Now awaiting either next set of documents / re-medicals / or passport request.

my advise to you, just await patiently. There is nothing you can do, but follow their requests, and hope that all goes well.

It is just it is not moving there at all since Mid Decemeber
