Guys,

Please let me know if anyone is planning to land in November/december 2013.

Guys be prepared with some really good winter clothes. Winter has set in early. In fact two days back it touched zero degree for the first time.

Good.. I love the cold, especially thick snow. I have spent many happy hours shovelling snow in Toronto.

How severe can the weather get to? Whats the maximum lowest temperature and is it very difficult to work in such weather as a new comer?

Hi ktt,

Try saudi airlines, they are now flying direct to YYC Toronto, with reasonable prices, though it's 14 hours flight. Haven't tried it but one friend did and it's was good.

Good luck

It can get down to - 20°C and that doesn't include the wind chill factor. Depends on what your job is...

OMG.....

In which part of Canada do you live?

We are Physiotherapist though....... until we find a right job .... we have to work part time somewhere

The coldest temperature recorded at Toronto Pearson International Airport was −31.3 °C (−24.3 °F) on January 4, 1981, and the coldest windchill recorded was −44.7 (−48.5) on the same day.

Downtown, the coldest −33 °C (−27 °F) was recorded on January 10, 1859.

I am moving to downtown Toronto. The number that I quoted was from my wife, who was born and bred in Toronto.
The flag at the bottom of my timeline is the city flag.
