Hi guys,I too am applying ,however I'm curious to know abt the job opportunities and minimum pay scale in castelgar. My friend is in NLC and he's pretty positive abt the place but I didn't get admission there bcoz of lack of seats.

Frankly speaking i have no idea about the job prospects after the course,i am banking totally on my ability

part time jobs are difficult to find in Castlegar to be prepared just in case you are not able to find them...

Minimum wage is set to be 10 $.hr and if you are working legally with a SIN then you tne employer will have to give you that minimum wage if not more


you can only work 20hrs/week and 80 hrs/month during your studies,and cannot do part time during the first 6 months of study.
 
@resters2009 I'm from Kerala,India. I had previously applied to NLC but was informed 3 days back that seats are filled,so the next alternative was Selkirk but as far as I have read about castlegar its not that promising for those who expects to do part time work,I want to be independent so if I have to rely on my parents even in abroad that will suck for me. And are you sure abt no work in the first 6 months.
 
i have 7cgpa in 10th and 58.2% in 12th and my ielts score is 7 bands 8 List. 7 read. 6 speak. 6 writ. and i have reapplied under general category as my fist visa was refused reasoning the proposed programme is not in reasonable in light of your past studies and academic scores and i reapplied on 4th feb and got dispatched message on 20th feb but not got any email.....proof of funds 60-70 lakhs.....plzz help me out here m little tensed as i got message at 6 pm friday and i have to wait till monday to see the final result...2-3 days under pressure
 
I have applied for PGD in Hospitality mgmt for may 2015 Batch and would pay my fee in some days, applied for Gic waiting to get my account number.

10th - 70%
12th - 56%

BSc Hospitality and hotel administration - 65% aggregate

IELTS- 7.5
