To me and others who have never visited Canada, it seems rather impossible to obtain a job offer by merely sending our resumes to this and that company.

Those of you who have been lucky enough to obtain a valid job offer, would you share with us how you did so and from where did you start?

Here is my 3 months exploration

Few immigration consultancies claims they assist in getting job. Charges are to be made up front. Not ready to provide reference.
More number of quikr adds are available claiming they will do both PR and job placement. But huge amount ~ 5L Rs and reliability is a question mark
Few immigration companies have wonderful support and provide quality response but charges are in 15L Rs.

Tried in the Temporary worker category in this forum but no :(ne responded.

Contacted Canada based placement companies , they responded to get PR first.

Looks LMIA is the show stopper

Rather impossible is a good description. It's not completely impossible, but extremely hard.

Do do it, you need to find a company that needs you so badly that no Canadian is qualified who applies, then they have to be willing to wait months and months before you start.

If you're a "rockstar" in your profession with specialist knowledge, you may achieve it. If you're not, well, you likely won't. Other avenues may be better for you.

If you don't have local experience(Canadian)it is hard to get a job even if you are a PR :)
