Anyone know about common-law? Open work ?

Hello there,

I am a LCV and I will apply for an open work permit with PR soon. Anyone know about common-law ? I will put my girl friend's name in my application. (We lived together for 1 yr and we have prove) In this case can she apply for an open work too? She is staying in Canada right now on visitor visa.

Hi there I am in India and working for private company from last 18 months. My wife is on 3years work permit in Alberta Canada right now till June 2016. I have already applied for trv two times first in November 2011 and then in September 2013 but both times I have got rejected. Now I have heard about open work permit for spouse so can it be good idea to apply for it and what are the chances to get it does any one get it yet?
