Thank you for your advice. I apologize for not giving more information, so here it is. My family and I have been on this Canadian immigration journey since late 2016. We have done the IELTS many times due to its 2 years expiration, fast forward to 2019 Fall, I came to study a Post Grad diploma and graduated in Dec 2020. Started working a PGWP for the past 2 years and have mustered 490 points to date. My wife has more than 1 year Canadian work experience from 2 part-time jobs but we are not being rewarded the 5 points as warranted.
Anyhow, we are hopeful for an ITA before my Jan 11 birthday will cost us 5 points and drop to 485 and then my IELTS is expiring in April 2023. We have also applied for a visitor visas in Aug 2022 when it was stated to take 14 days, fast forward to today it is 110 days and it has not started as yet. We have missed important events for relatives and critical illnesses back home. Had rescheduled flights due to delay of the visa and continue to drain our mental and financial resources in a country that cares nothing more than taxes and figures as immigrants. The housing crisis is completely avoided but yet proposed insignificant policies to help, however this has now began to affect the locals as well and as such is now on the national radar.
I am becoming speculative on the USA due to their almost $25 Trillion economy as opposed to the $2.1T of Canada. Housing is more realistic and the weather is better is many more parts. I just wanted to find like minded people here and stay away from any ridicule.
Thank you and I will follow your advice of posting in a USA immigration forum.
