Though I m staying here form a long
I preferred it to get it done from native place I.e. Punjab
As here it is tough for me too

nowadays you can do it from psk..One of my friend did it from Bangalore his passport had address of his native place Kolkata...he told me it was super quick and very easy

but its written on CIC website that only delhi people can get it from PSK for others its is different like from SSP office or local district police

I think that is a typo...lot many people have successfully get it done through psk..please refer to below thread..
