anyone here applying for FSW less than 67 points

does anyone here attempt to apply below 67 points and pass the whole process of FSW

My Friend Succeeded with 63 points but that was in 2007. he was already in Canada

in 2007 were different rules.
it all changed after February 2008.
But I have seen posts on other forums when people with <67 got substituted evaluation and passed.
However, if you have <67 then you must have something to compensate the lack of points: lots of published works, good family ties in Canada etc.

Who told you!! ya it is most likely to be rejected with less than 67 points but if they feel you have a good reasons that is not counted in these points they might accepted you.. read CIC website.

Take an Example, if you get Online Test for assessment and you calculate complete 67 points with English as High Language, and when you send Full docs and your IELTS score will not completely 16points but you will get 1 or 2 poitns less means 65points with IELTS bands points , this would be acceptable by CIO and in this case I seen CIO will call for Interview mostly, if you get 67 points completly then I also mark that CIO waived interview, even my one cousine have 65points and CIO not call for interview because her education and experience is in demand in Canada.
so, if you have some less points upto 65 or 66 that would be acceptable by CIO.

My points is 67 completely with high language is English, I am going for IELTS exams and try to get complete 16points , but if i not got it and I got some less points then 67 , my consultant ask me to go for reapeared the exams or go ahed and apply for less points but not less than 65, he told me this clearly , becasue they cleared some cases who have less points but not less <65.

My initial application to Sydney Ns was in June 2009 and Full documents to visa office in November 2009. and started processing from Jan 2010 and I got letter from visa office in Feb 2010 to attend an interview in last week of April 2010. My score is below the 67 points, I supposed to get 11 points from the language unfortunetly I got 9 and oviously got 2 points less. My wife has only 12 years of education but she also had 3 years of becholar degree but she has not completed yet. I thought i could get points from the Ielts but could not.
My interview lasted half an hour, during the interview the officer did not ask me anythings about my job and education and focous on my wife's education and what she does? do i have any relative in canada or not? do i have any job offer in canada or not? and then at the end of the interview he told me the main purpose of this interview was to find some things from your wife to get points from adaptability.
and later he show me how many points i get from each factor in a pice of paper and he made me clear about the points system, and the sumed the total points 65 and ask me Do you know how many points need to qulify? and i said 67. He asked me again What does it mean ie 65 points?
He told me i can apply again increasing points in language in english or french. at last he asked me any quesitions and I asked what will happen next he replied we inform you in writing in few days. I have not got any news from visa office since one week.
Guys just tell me what could happened

When did you get VISA on 63 point? Is it in old system or new fast track system?

Which is your visa office?

when I say "i made it" that means they have requested for my passport and medicals, and I had sent them 2 days ago=)

under NOC 4131, from New Delhi=)

It probably also helped that I worked in the US for 6 years=)

Hi,
Under the new system the CHC is very strict on the 67 threshold, however if you have applied under the old system (before Feb 28, 2008), some points may be added at the discretion of the visa officer.
