It's telling me this:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Technical details of permanent failure:
local-part of envelope contains utf8 but remote server did not offer SMTPUTF8

--
I've changed my Gmail setting so that it doesn't contain utf8 but still, it's not working..

Anyone with the same problem? Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Error is UTF8 encoding.

You should send with Plain Text.

If you are using Gmail, Click on compose, there is a small arrow at the bottom of the compose email box (next to trash bin icon), click on it and select Plain Text.

This will solve your problem.

Re: Anyone having problem sending email to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca

Hey guys,

This has nothing to do with either UTF8 setting in Gmail or plain-text messages. This is simply because when you copy the email address of CIO from their official page, the hyphens within the email address get transformed to a weird character that google sends in an encoded format. To successfully send an email, normally enable HTML formatting as well as UTF8 encoding in outgoing messages. Just make sure the hyphens (dashes) within the address of CIO - Sydney - Search - Enquiry at cic are regular hyphens (dashes) (minus signs). You may need to type the address in the To box instead of copying and pasting it.
