Hi everyone,

my boyfriend has a rehabilitation application in process since June 2011. Just wondering who else out there are in the same situation with this type of application, how you find the process, if the VO has had any contact with you etc.

So far, no word from Washington DC (where it was transferred to after Buffalo closed)

Please join in!

I'm in the same boat. I have been waiting for a response for my boyfriends rehabilitation since January of 2013, his application was sent to the NewYork office. Any word or any other information about the subject would be much appreciated!

Hey Christine,

do you know that his application is still in NY? Our application went from Buffalo to Washington now to LA, where it presently is. To date, still no word from them unfortunately. :(. We requested CAIPS notes to see if there is anything new in his file.

As far as I know it is still in New York, we have not received any notification of anything otherwise. Also when I checked the new york office's website it states that the office is closed but applications are still being processed. That is all the information I have.

I think you should try to send a case-specific enquiry to make sure that it is still there. CAIPS are electronic notes on the file that you can request, and it tells you everything that has gone on with it, like if it's in process, was it transferred etc. the only thing is that it takes 30 days to receive them
