Anyone got study permit for Jan 2018 from Pakistan?

Hello guys! Anyone can tell me about my status. visa process here in the Philippines is 9 weeks which is under the normal stream. I applied last sept 26, i submitted all the documents together with my upfront medical and passport ( yes i submitted all at once) , it took 1 month for them to give an update regarding my medical exam, result: YOU PASSED THE MEDICAL EXAM. It's actually a "file at your own risk" thing so I made sure I submitted all the documents needed. This week is my 9th week of waiting, so i'm checking my tracking no. from time to time for any update whether they will need additional documents from me, it says my application is still on process. lol. I don't know what to expect by next week. What's your idea about the status of my application? I will greatly appreciate hearing from you guys.

Mayee you should create your own thread. Only Pakistanis will open this thread. No one can say anything about an application until it gets approved. The main reason why some applicants don't go for upfront medical is because medical call from cic gives them an idea that cic is considering their application. but since you have submitted an upfront medical, only time will tell whether it will get approved or not. I believe they shouldn't have taken so much time if they intended to refuse your application. So maybe that is a positive thing but I have seen people getting rejected after this much time too so can't really comment on it.

I know you are worried but so is everyone here. But all we can do is wait and help each other and pray for each other. If Allah wills, he will grant your study permit so don't worry and just pray since only prayer can change fate.
