Hi
@aasaf ,
@AsivAdanac and
@Mr_nobody ,
If you could help out on this I would be so grateful, I haven't been able to find a solid answer on this yet, and it's the only thing I still need to figure out before submitting. I am in a similar position to
@sdjkd .
I'm ready to submit my e-apr for CEC Inland, having filled in and uploaded everything except for one employment record. For the job in question, I claimed 1 yr 10 mths of FSWE in my EE profile. However, on an old resume that I submitted to IRCC as part of my 2017 Work Permit application, I claimed nearly 5 years for that job title, because I merged all of my time at that employer (multiple positions) into the one entry on the resume. Here is the word-for-word from the LoE that I am thinking of attaching... does this sound good? Would you change anything? Or is it not even worth mentioning it at all to avoid unnecessary scrutiny? Do you think the officer would even cross check with the old CV?
"Attachment (3), the CV submitted with my Work Permit application in 2017, lists my Retail Store Manager employment period as July 2009 to June 2014. Please note that in writing this CV my intention was simply to provide a brief description of my history. I estimated dates and merged multiple periods of employment with the same company into one in an attempt to fit everything onto one page for readability. I didn’t consider that the CV would be used for any reason other than to provide a brief overview, nor did I intend to profit in any way by merging the entries.
To clarify, between July 2009 and June 2014, I was employed both as a Store Manager and as a Retail Attendant in numerous locations around the city of
CITY, as follows;
o Retail Attendant 2013-11-21 to 2014-05-18
o Retail Store Manager 2012-01-18 to 2013-11-20
o Retail Attendant 2010-12-02 to 2012-01-17
o Retail Attendant 2009-07-01 to 2010-09-21
As shown in attachment (1),
[VOE] I am claiming Foreign Skilled Work Experience as a Retail Store Manager strictly for the period between January 18th, 2012 and November 20th, 2013."
Do you think I should attach this VOE, or not mention it at all? Thanks for any advice that you may be able to give, and thanks as well for the time you all dedicate to this forum!
