anyone got rejected after 12 months waiting?

I'm just curious that if anyone got rejected after a long time waiting, like 11 or 13 months waiting.

because I have been waiting for medical request for more than 11 months now, but my online status still shows " application received". and I requested GCMS notes on October in 2014, got my notes on November saying that "no adverse information, review required". then there are no updates since that.

I'm also wondering if the 13 months which is the standard CEC process time really is the guaranteed time for processing CEC application, is there anyone who is waiting for PR more than 13 months?

Yes I have seen few cases from forum where application got rejected after 12 month also

thank you for providing this link, I have also heard that during the period between September and December in 2014, The cap of CEC application has been reached already, people who submitted application after October received their application back, also the officers who were in charge of CEC application did NOT work on the existing cases during that period, is that true?

Your question doesn't really make sense.

The cap for CEC was reached around October 23rd for 2014. Any applications received after this date are going to be returned.

Two years for CEC class. Your case must of been complex for it to go on for two years.

actually I received my GSMC notes last month, I ask for it because I was getting insane as my friend who created this thread. What I found is that the officer who had my case departed, it was stated in one of the internal notes. And it wasn't until November or October that they took my case again.

Anyways, I wouldn't be that worried if the initial assessment was passed (time working in Canada, taxes paid, NOC, etc.). If they already check that and didn't say anything then you are Ok. These are my belief of course.

There has never been a "guaranteed" processing time for CEC. CIC has clearly defined the meaning.

13 months processing time - is the time it has taken 80% of applications to be finalized, based on historical data.

Actually, the service standard (goal) is 10 months. But it is just a goal, not a guarantee.

did you apply for GCMS notes, did they say they require a second review?
did you finish the medical exam?
