Anyone got passports back from chandigarh office, need to check processing times

Hello All,

I have applied for TRV at vfs chandigarh on 22 April 2015 and still waiting for any notifications from their end, only sms received till date is that passport has been forwarded to embassy.
Anyone on similar boar or anyone who got the passport back.
Just need to check the time lines for processing.

Another 5 days before I can file a case specific query .

Based on the timelines posted by some members (for Chandigarh visa office) it is currently taking anywhere up to about 3-4 weeks (calendar)

We applied last week of March and got notice on 22 April of refusal. btw the refusal rate for Chandigarh office is 60% outright... so don't get your hopes up. We had way more than enough evidence to show undeniably that he would not be in Canada beyond the visa dates, and were still refused. We are on second attempt now, and this time have applied through a law firm in Delhi, at a cost of about 2000.00 CDN and hoping we get it this time. I am marrying him in Kashmir in Sept in my Mom can not travel to India for the wedding due to her health so this is the only way he can meet her prior.

We applied for my in-laws TRV at Chandigarh office in April 2015 and it took 8 calendar days. They accepted the application.

Applied on 22nd may and got passports on 13th may.
Exactly 3 calender weeks, going by that rate, you should be hearing from them in couple of days.
